She Only Has Revenge On Her Mind
Chor Yuen’s tale of a young woman who gets confined to a brothel deserves it’s legendary status. It’s breathtakingly beautiful to look at, features a captivating story and is tantalizingly erotic. But, amidst all of that, the film is bleak in tone and ends in a bloody showdown that’s exhilarating to watch.
This seminal piece of work needs to be seen.
